I can't get in to London on 23rd, if I send someone the money could they grab a copy for me, and get Rob & Paul to sign it to Julia?

I can do that for you.
Which version of the book would be wanting? There appears to be several.

Picked up a copy of the standard version at the Waterstones event; go tit signed by Paul, Rob, Vanessa, and Harry.
My Super-duper slipcase edition has arrived. Is there a fragrance called New Book? If not, there ought to be.
I was rather pleased to discover I have the original of one of the pencil drawings in the book.

I am very jealous of your new books - I can't afford them until next paydate :( so having to exercise the P-word with a great deal of bad grace (pune intended)

I am, however, very intrigued to read that you got your tit signed by Paul, Rob, Vanessa and Harry . . . is this a new service they are providing at book launches now? If so, do they charge extra for this service and do the Seamstresses' Guild know about it? Also, is it just boobs and moobs they're willing to inscribe or are they willing to decorate other body parts?  Could make future signings very interesting . . .

Oook!

I was wondering if you guys could help me decide on a book version. I've been looking at all 3 versions, and they all say 272 pages.

So how is it that both the Delux and the Special edition have the same number of pages as the regular paperback?

And is it really worth another 40 Pounds for one extra picture*? Or to pay a another 65 Pounds for a different picture**, suitable for framing?

I have very limited funds, and even more limited shelf-space, otherwise I would seriously consider getting all 3 (ah, the "joys" of being a collector on a budget).

Please help

* Special Edition
** I'm assuming the Deluxe Special had a completely different picture, since it says "a new piece of artwork produced especially for this edition and an exclusive print is presented separately for framing"
What ape? Oook! :book:

Standard edition is a large format hardcover with a standard dust jacket.
Special edition comes in a large thick cardboard slipcase, and has metallic page edgings and a marker ribbon, and from Discworld.com is signed by Paul Kidby.
Deluxe edition is a "boxed hardback" so its case is even fancier than the Special edition.

I suspect the internal contents of all three are 99.9% the same - yes, there might be an extra illustration or two, or Kidby's signature, but the major difference is in how the book is "wrapped". I bought the Special edition (from Discworld Emporium) and to be honest, I should have gone for the Standard version and saved GBP40, because as nice as the slipcase is, it doesn't make a huge difference to the lovely artwork on the inside.
