Another Ripple!

I have just finished the second of Dave Hutchinson's 'Europe' books-'Europe at Midnight' and discovered a Terry reference on page 261-'There was a series of popular novels in Europe about a world borne through space on the back of a turtle, and the Community was like that.' Another ripple! The Europe novels-'in Autumn, at Midnight, in Winter.' are ostensibly spy stories set in a near future Europe where the EU has fractured. I get a cross between Le Carre and Charles Stross's 'Merchant Princes' stories with a touch of Jamie Oliver! Two down and a cracking good read.
'If they give you ruled paper ,write the other way!'
