More updates of the cast.
Interested to see it includes Carcer.
Lady Sybil looks rather young.

Bit surprised at what looks like an obvious misspelling - 'defiantly' should surely be 'definitely' ?

And the quote, as we all know, should say flamethrower, not just hint at it afterwards, no?

An excellent choice of location ;)

Wow, really loving this news. The Watch series is one of my favorites of the Discworld series. In the top three it is Guards Guards, The Night Watch and The Fifth Elephant. I even have made a custom made character, and cosplay called Ralph Shwarzwald who joins the watch in my fan-short-story / backstory, I wrote for Cabbagecon in The Netherlands ;-).

Just been listening to the BBC dramatisation of Guards! Guards!
Melvyn Hayes played Corporal Nobbs and Helen Atkinson-Wood was Sybil Ramkin.
Seems to me they would be great visually.

"In a statement to BBC America, Chancellor gave a preview of her take on the character: “With the combining characteristics of Dracula and Elvis – Lord Vetinari has sprung to life in the most alarmingly joyful way,” she said".

I was really excited to see this series and now I'm actively trying to stay positive about it :|

Yeah, was excited, then ambivalent, now I'm not going to bother with it.

BBC America has made some good stuff. This apparently won't be some of it. Sigh. Stop making stuff for an American audience. It doesn't work. Make stuff for a British audience, and SELL it to the Americans. Sheesh.

Good Omens has proven (again) that if you make something with love, for people who love the source, you end up with something that attracts new people

If you make something driven by focus groups and other agenda, you get ... well, American Gods

We like American gods, it is it's own thing

It has been updated again:
https://www.terrypratchettbooks.com/bbc ... h-tv-cast/

Oh no,

[Reveal] Spoiler: casting
Lord Vetenari played by a woman? This can't be happening :? .
Just a simple quote comes to mind: 'never change a winning team'.
If only the would have cast Charles Dance for Vetinari, I really loved him in Going Postal!

The characters are a smart blend who work together as a whole, why change that?
Cannot believe the Pratchett family signed off on this.
