It has low ratings and terrible reviews on Rotten Tomato's and IMDB, it's not being talked about on social media except for a few people following those involved, and I would think that if it had high viewing figures both of those would be different?

It (like many large projects) will always be deemed to be successful

The Watch* is now on BBC iPlayer, with no fanfare...

I just saw the ad for it. I don't think I could be less excited by something.

And apparently it's been showing all this week on BBC2, again, with zero adverts nor announcements

As the Spectator surmised

It was broadcast in America earlier this year and has been on iPlayer for a few weeks. So why has it taken until now for it to appear on BBC2 — and in the traditionally quiet TV month of August? After seeing the first two episodes on Thursday, it wasn’t hard to form a hypothesis: because it’s terrible.

Mandi downloaded it on to the Sky box when it appeared on iPlayer. It sat there for a few weeks before we decided to brace it (there was nothing else on & nothing else recorded). I think we watched about 10 minutes before it went off & all episodes were deleted
Yes it will be in this brown envelope, I know it will.... Oh maybe not
