I have a spare ticket for a research screening of a new film, Churchill, on Thursday (more details to follow) at 7pm at the May Fair hotel
You'll need to fill in questionnaires before and after the showing
Anyone interested?

June 1944. On a swelteringly hot summer's day the leaders of the Allied forces have gathered to finalise their plans for Operation Overlord; the greatest military invasion in modern history
and one that should turn the tide of the war against Nazi Germany. But one man stands in their way: Winston Churchill.

While the Prime Minister might still be revered by the British public behind closed doors those closest to him are losing faith. Exhausted by years of war and fearful of repeating the disastrous landings at Gallipoli during WWI Churchill is a shadow of the exuberant hero who resisted Hitler's Blitzkrieg.

Facing his greatest test it is the unwavering support of his indomitable wife Clementine that grants Churchill the courage to confront his fears inspire his people and become the icon who gave hope to a nation.

The untold story of Britain's most celebrated leader uncovering the true nature of his herculean war-time status and his vital relationship with "Clemmie" – his backbone confidant
and lifetime love.
