And yet, despite there being very few cinematic adaptations of Terry's work, almost every book has, at one time or another, been done on stage (mostly by Stephen Briggs and the Studio Theatre Club). Theatre is probably easier because you rely on the audience's imagination for the things that are impossible to stage, whereas in film/TV you have to show them (which can be costly to film/do special effects for)
