Good Omens is being made in to a new TV Series . . .

The bit of the forum where you can be the director, producer, and critic of anything that is movie related in a Discworldly sort of way.

My last unread post was the picture of Neil and Rob. For some reason I scrolled rapidly down to the bottom of the page - Chris quoted above. I went back to Neil and Rob. They look scary alike to me.  Then David and Michael. Not nearly as scary lookalike as Neil and Rob...  Although there is a resemblance between David and Michael, as you might expect :D

Don't remember a Victorian bit in the book . . . Maybe about Crowley sleeping through most of the 19th Century, but needing to get up circa 1832 to go to the lavatory? Seems like an awful lot of extras just for a demonic visit to the Privy . . .

From Neil's Twitter feed: "There will be much promenading in crinolines."

My word! That's some hat!

Can't help but think that Neil is channelling both his inner Demon and his inner Angel at the same time by posting these teasers! :D

There's definitely something new/different afoot, but I doubt it has anything to do with Agnes Nutter. Hopefully it will be to do with Crowley and Aziraphale getting up to some amusing shenanigans to pass the millennia . . . maybe Crowley getting a commendation for the Great Stink of 1858 and Aziraphale granting a bit of divine revelation to Joseph Bazalgette

Well, well, well, the plot thickens . . . and apparently sports mutton chops and very tall hats . . .

I am (a little bit obsessively, I'll admit) following Neil Gaiman on Twitter to find out what they're up to on the filming of Good Omens and a few hours ago he Tweeted that "This morning we are filming in a convent of Chattering Nuns . . ." along with the picture below. I replied, then so did he . . . although, I'm not entirely sure whether he's amused or pissed at me . . . Should I be expecting a visit from Ligur or Hastur?

I've spent this morning tweaking dialogue and adding scenes to make this clear. And you do it in a tweet.

Having been ill with the flu and then secondary infections thanks to a chemically suppressed immune system the last couple of weeks, I've just binge-watched the first 3 seasons of Mad Men on DVD - completely missed it when it was on the actually Tellybox a few years ago and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I have to say, it was very educational about just how sexist, racist, and almost every other type of -ist the 1960's was in America, but it was also very entertaining and Jon Hamm was great as the lead character.

So I was delighted to just log on to Twitter to find that he's just been cast as the Angel Gabriel :D
