What you get out of the weekend is very much up to you, i.e. if you want a laid back weekend, where you just watch the fun, then that is entirely up to you, if on the other hand you want to take part in every thing and get the full experience of the Event that is known as Wadfest, again this is up too you.
We are a family Event and to that end we put on events for Adults, Teenagers, and the younger ones.
From the moment you arrive you will get a warm welcome, and even if it is your first Wadfest, within a short time you will feel at home.
Over the weekend you will find different events that I am sure will suit you, from Murder Mysteries, to Building and Racing your own futuristic vehicle.
There is a walk around Masquerade on the Saturday, this is your chance to dress up in the character that you have always wanted to be. It is entirely up to you whether you dress to the theme, or in your favourite Sci/Fi Fantasy Character.
The Event starts from Friday Flag raising and runs to the Closing Ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
When you first arrive on the Friday, if you have young ones you can send them of looking for Haggis around the field, while you set up your tent.
If you need a refreshment when you arrive the staff of the Burger Wagon will only be to happy to serve you.
Later that day you will have a chance to meet up with other Wadfester’s at either the Story time, or other non official events.
Many a Trader will be on hand to try to tempt you with their wares, and there will always be a chance to purchace limited edition merchandise from the wadfest stand.
