And you might want to bring a frock for Friday night's cocktail party!
Unofficial but fun, Ms Wadfest competition for the gentlemen  and the Prince of Wadfest for the ladies!

for a given value of "many"...
I attended some of it last year, fun and almost as cheap as the german con, come along, it's a (literally) unforgettable experience.

Wadfest is when we live IN A FIELD, and all of my friends live their too and spend all day making a fuss of me and throwing things for me. There is a big river close by but the Boss won't let me near it. Lots of little people walk me around the cloth houses, sometimes I go in and get extra fuss. I get very excited, as does the old dog. Sometimes the Boss shuts us away and says "Lay Down", he thinks we need to rest sometimes. All of the other funny shaped dogs are left at home so the Boss only has us to make a fuss of, IT'S GREAT.

Will you throw my ball?

Feeling 'Ruff' - sorry, the bad pun bit may be catching, the Boss is really bad for them. Still very much me, slightly older, not much calmer. Still like to roll over and get fuss. I am looking forward to the living in a field ;) :bounce:

Jake - I'll see your ball and give you an EMPTY COKE BOTTLE (sniggers and runs back to tent out of sound reach of scrunching plastic)

Nope Charlie - no one gets as excited over an empty coke bottle as Jake does.

But I think that it's preferable over his greatest love of all - stones...

When I met Jake at Clarecraft I expected him to try taking half the field home! At least (while noisy) plastic bottles don't break his teeth.

Jakes been coming to events for a while - usually Wadfest - we can't keep him in the B&B in Wincanton, lots of the Discworld people know him so he ended up with his own account.

Some people anthropomorphize way too much
