Hogswatch 2014 and beyond...

Postby The Guilds » Mon Dec 01, 2014 01:31 pm

The Guilds would like to thank everyone for making it such a great weekend, especially those running all the various events and talks, the Tech crew, Pat and the auction team, the traders, Boggis, Davina, Hicks and Tim for their voices, the pubs for putting up with us every event and most of all to Reb and the rest of The Shop who let us plot and scheme to our hearts delight.

Nice to meet so many new people too, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We will be back next year with even more fun and games as well as more ducks to shoot and a few more public inhumations (we haven't looked in the nominations box yet).

If you have any ideas for Guild based games or if you want to be involved then give us a shout and we'll see what we can do.
Feel free to give feedback too as we can only improve with your help.

And while I remember, Ian wanted a snowball fight so that's happening next year too because we like a challenge.

I do have a Q about the auciton.....

I saw apart from the one which inhumed our aucitoneer, almost no stampy things.. is this a first?
[regarding Alan Rickman] He had Tim Curry's ability to save the day by putting literally all the scenery in his mouth and gnawing on it like a deranged woodchuck.

Ian said he thought it was fairer to give them away as prizes rather than just one person buying it/them in the auction.
