Hogswatch 2015

Postby Grace Speaker » Wed Apr 29, 2015 06:14 pm

Just seen on the shop's Facebook page that they are taking a break from organising an official Hogswatch event this year:
http://www.discworldemporium.com/information/HogswatchHiatus

An understandable decision, all things considered, and an early announcement gives plenty of time to consider alternate Hogswatch celebrations . . .

Suggestions . . . ?

things are in hand...
[regarding Alan Rickman] He had Tim Curry's ability to save the day by putting literally all the scenery in his mouth and gnawing on it like a deranged woodchuck.

ah, but you said plans were in hand . . . which does not rule out plots also being afoot . . . especially if the Librarian is involved

No, no, twelve inches are a foot. Plots and plans and what you cook your flood in.
My next project is a book in which I explore the influence of the music of Beyonce on the writings of J R R Tolkien. It's called "It you write it, you have to put a ring in it"

There will be a Loonies' Christmas Gathering, on the last weekend in November, in Wincanton. By a bizarre and amazing coincidence, this is the same place and time that Hogswatch would have been if it were happening.

A small, unofficial organising committee is putting a few things into place; more details will follow. The Emporium staff are NOT part of the organising group; please don't bother them for information.

just sense, or sensibility as well.

We demand digression, reasonably priced sausages and a hard boiled auctioneer
