Spring Thing

Postby Pat » Mon Jan 16, 2017 01:49 pm

Anyone know the dates for this? SWMBO wants a citybreak weekend in the spring and I don't think she'd accept Wincanton...
My next project is a book in which I explore the influence of the music of Beyonce on the writings of J R R Tolkien. It's called "It you write it, you have to put a ring in it"

27th - 29th April was the date given at Hogswatch. The Facebook page makes it look like that is an Australian event which makes no sense.

Bugger, I was in the process of putting together an Assassin's outfit. Did XXXX have a Guild of Assassins, or did the A-M Guild of Assassins at least let their members go walkabout?

Come on, most of the wildlife there would pass muster for guild entry in terms of general deadliness...

 good point! But which members of it get to wear black high-heeled boots, a corset, a whip, a black riding coat and several daggers strapped to their thigh?

^^^ what she said! Besides, trying to inhume someone with that infernal bush would cause far too much commotion . . .

. . . although, I can't help wondering if Interflora could start a lucrative sideline in sadistic pot plants - there's any number of us who'd be happy to send one along to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for a start . . .
