CA Forum Party/Gathering at the con?

Postby Murgatroyd » Thu Jul 24, 2014 07:51 pm

I'm sure I saw this idea somewhere else, but as I can find no hint of it in the program I thought I'd ask if anyone who's attending the con might fancy meeting up in one of the bars at an "As yet undesignated" time so that those of us who haven't yet met in the roundworld can do so?
If so, you might want to suggest a time that doesn't clash with anything else you might have planned?
Any takers?

I think that sounds like a very good idea!
I don't have enough of an overview of the programme yet to suggest a time. But if someone does, I will be there.

On Friday there's a lovely gap between the Society Faire and the Opening ceremony. Plenty of time for dinner and beers.
Outmaneuvered on all counts, I opt to change the rules.

I'm trading in Sator Square, Masquerading and attending the Secret Watchpersons ball... apart from those times I'll be around as Igor... :sunny:

I'm so glad I got to see so many of you! The con is over, it was awesome! I'm still slouching around Manchester for a couple of days. If anyone is nearby and wants to meet for lunch or something, just drop me a note.

Carol & Suzanne, if you want to get a train down to London one day, I'll take you around and show you some less-tourist-visited sites?

Chris that is so nice of you! Carol is in Wales right now and we fly out tomorrow morning. If we ever make it back, I would love to take you up on that. I had hoped for a day trip to London, but it didn't work out. It was so fun seeing you again!

Why haven't I checked your post earlier? I was in Manchester for the whole 12th and feeling blue... Now I'm back at home though, and feeling better :)
I don't want a happy ending, I want more story.
