That was A LOT of fun! ConCom are to be congratulated on finding a hotel where the staff are as friendly as the fans, and the building is wierder!

Roll on 2019!

PS Cheese is good, cheese is good...

Apart from the ridiculous postscript touting the beneficial properties of milk gone off big time styley, I wholeheartedly endorse everything above

Definitely still the loveliest, most fun, convention of any sort, anywhere, that I've been to
Had a simply marvellous time
Games, quizzes, panels, music, fun, talking bollocks, singing, drinking (apparently), lovely congoers, lovely staff, lovely (if weird) hotel...
Just lovely
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

And now we have to wait until 2019 to do it all again :(

If anyone has ever thought about going to a con but concerned about too many people, or possibly 'not your sort of thing' I urge you to give IDWCon a try
It's like no other convention in the world
But be warned! It's terribly addictive...
Using your old computer to shop for a new computer online is rather cruel
It's like asking your dying wife if she has any cute girlfriends

Aw, shucks guys, thanks both for the lovely comments. Feedback survey will follow [edited to include link!] and then in the next couple of months dates, location and theme for 2019, once concom have had a chance to breathe, recover from con lurgy, get back to their respective areas of the world and forgive me for asking them to do it all again :bounce:

I have a figure in my brain that about 30% or 40% of IDWCon attendees were nerbiews - is that right? Does anyone know the figures for NADWCon, Nullus Anxietas or the International DW Con aka UK Con?

For Nullus Anxietas VI, our membership database says we had 88 first time attendees out of 201 - so that's 44%.
(This is the info from pre-con, and may not be completely up to date based on on-sold memberships via the waiting list etc)

Excellent! Because it looks good for the future and it's evidence that my brain isn't totally failing ;-)
