Cabinet of curiosities

Postby annebn » Sat Jun 27, 2009 02:40 pm

I just had a trading card from the Cabinet of Curiosities series- very nice one too. But I can't see this series in the shop. Is there going to be an album for it?

The William Lilly card was given away free to all attendees of the Cartophilic Society Convention in April. Lilly was a resident of Walton on Thames (where the 2009 Convention was held) and so was picked to start the new series of 12 cards.

Since then I believe that the focus has been on developing the UA Footie cards so (now that they have been issued) it will be interesting to hear if #41 have plans to extend the "Odd & Occult" series.

Contacted the Shop and received the reply, that this is the only one thus far, due to concentrating on DW themed cards, stamps etc, they have not gotten round to designing the rest of the set. As they had already had the "William Lilly" card printed, they thought what the heck! and bunged them in the LBEs.

So no date available for the rest of the set at this time :(
