Welcome to new members

Somewhere to say hello, draw up a chair and join us by the fire...

Hi all! New member here. I’m a long-time fan of Terry Pratchett and DW, and recently discovered this fantastic site. It took me about 5 minutes to decide to start collecting Discworld stamps. Got my first shipment a few days ago. Kudos to the creators of these wonderful, little works of art!

I know nothing about stamp collecting, so I have a few questions, but I suppose those belong in the stamp forum. Hope some of you can help me out. Reading through the forum, I couldn't help but notice that most of you are at least a little insane. I should fit in perfectly! ;)
Sage words from Terry Pratchett:

∞ “Gods don't like people not doing much work. People who aren't busy all the time might start to think.” ∞
∞
“Always be wary of any helpful item which weighs less than its operating manual.” ∞

Welcome to Oeblate, Seamstress and Mrs Ogg. Credit card details to the shop, sanity in the bucket by the door, pull up a chair and call the cat a barsteward. :D

So you'll be bringing the cake then eh? I'll remind you at gamesday.

Welcome to all you newer lot! Not much to say that's not already been said.
Enjoy your journey of unenlightenment and hopefully by the end of it, you'll still be able to remember your name, quest and the wing speed velocity of the swallow.
