Year of the Happy Goose - EEB Jan meet - 23rd Jan

Postby Squigglyx » Sun Dec 20, 2009 07:13 pm

Hi everyone, as you have probaly been made aware, I won the one horse race to be elected as chair person for our friendly band of flatalists and disc lovers spread around the round world.

To this end, a couple of announcements.

During my year as your supreme leader I will be expecting the following;
1. You may address me as Oh Mighty One.
2. Tributes will be paid on a monthly basis (I will allow you to decide what YOU think is suitable)
3. Any decisions I make will be put to a vote before I make a final proclamation confirming the decision I made. :twisted:

I have contacted Bernard (via Isobel) to secure some EEB LBEs for quizzes and draws to be held in March, June, September and December.
If you wish to partake in the EEB LBE draws, you will need to send me a GCTS stamp for each draw. (pm me if you need my address). All collected GCTS stamps will be raffled off in December.

Right now down to business...
When should we have the first meeting of the New Year.
Use the voting options to select your preferred Saturday, (voting closes on 3rd January).

Have a Merry Christmas everyone and let us meet again in the New Year.

Thanks,
Pete

It's what you trade in stamps for to buy Bernards special offers or to enter eeb drawers :D

Please do come along Mazzie; we have a rolicking good time :D

Voted for the 23rd, so I can have a conflict with two other things that conflict, but neither of which I want to do, so need a positive conflict to select :? :twisted: :lol: but can probably do any date. Anticipating SquigglyX's diabolical qiz with relish (or any other tasty condiment, as the case may be).
