OK I'll start again. 3rd and 24th I'm away so any of the rest. I would prefer the September one.

26th September is by far the best for me
October is a very busy month (Narrowboating, Norway, Germany, and some weird stuff called 'work')
Using your old computer to shop for a new computer online is rather cruel
It's like asking your dying wife if she has any cute girlfriends

Mr Slant and I won't be able to make the 10th October, but any of the others are fine I believe.

Looks like the 26th is good for most people so let's go for that.
At the Red House, Redbridge from noon.

Anyone fancy doing a quiz? Otherwise I'll do one.

Hi, I attended the DW Con this year as a first timer which is how I came to this message board.
My question is, what is a Lodge Meeting?

A fancy name for a meet-up of people from the local (maybe not so local) area who like to pretend to give themselves airs and graces that we don't have!

Basically, anyone who can and wants to go to ANY local meet-up is welcome. Those of us who live dahn saaaf, sorry, in the southern part of the country, would be more than welcome at the northern meetings if we could just get there!

The format is chat, lunch, maybe some stamp talk for some, for others chat, drinks, chat, quiz, chat, drinks and chat. Then we go home. :D

And there is also a monthly online meeting known as the EEB (Everywhere Else Branch) meeting, open to any and everyone. See the thread in this section. If you wish to join in all you need to do is pm myself (or Annebn for this month's meeting) with your MSN address and then log into MSN at the alloted time and date. There is chat, some of it sensible, a quiz and a raffle and more chat. You have to provide your own food and drink though :D

Sorry for hijacking the London meet thread folks..

Is the Red House the one where the A12 crosses the North Circular or the one near Lakeside?

We can't make it, as I'm going to be in France next weekend.
