Well, how was it? Spiffing fun all round? I got to sit at home in the rain and finally drag my sorry carcass up the hill to buy some bread 8-(
NOT the most thrilling of days

I was very pleasantly surprised as more people turned up than I was expecting.
Fi was ill and didn't make it but Frank got from his death bed to join us.
We also welcomed Ga Lok to our madness. It was great to see him. He is not a hardened stamp collector but he was mad welcome.
We talked about stamps :D and I managed to see and sort out some stamps missing from my catalogue.
Drinks were drunk and food was eaten.
We had a quiz that I had hastily put together based around the various armorial bearings of the guilds and persons in the discworld and the mottos. Congratulations to Larry and Simon.
Rob kindly sent me a scan of Sir Terry's bearings.

Sorry we had to rush off early. Had to attend grand-daughter Abi the Tartar's birthday party. Lovely to see you all, especially Frank, rising from his bed of pain. Missed Fi and Chrisboote.

Messor: God of agriculture and mowing.
Messor is a myrmicine genus of ants with more than 100 species, all of which are harvester ants
