Postby Squigglyx » Sun Aug 01, 2010 08:53 pm

Hi all, the coming month is a busy one with Wadfest and the UK con both falling within its boundaries,
So choose carefully.

Hope to see you there.

Not many votes so far- if it ends up being during the con, is there someone who will stand in a quizmaster? I can make a quiz and e-mail it beforehand, but I can't attend.

I'll be deputy assistant stand-in quiz master for you Anne, cos its looking very likely that it is going to be con weekend.
Have you got my e-mail?

A pretty quiet turnout with just a select few members (due to the Con (I hope)).

Excellent meeting as always with some interesting topics of conversation ranging from the weather, glitter an glue, sewing machines, painted cats and absent friends and jealousy and envy,

We have plans for the next con though :D

The quiz was kindly written by Anne, presented in her abscence by yours truly and won by Jake with a magnificent 10 points out of a maximum of 20.

France was raffled off in the monthly country raffle and won by Phalarope (Carol) who is continuing her bid for world domination.
Quiz questions and answers will be posted later.

Thanks to all who attended and see you next month for the EEB LBE quiz and raffle.
