The meeting of AshKente

Postby archerinwood » Tue Feb 22, 2011 04:26 pm

I am just wanting to find out whether anyone would come to a kent meeting. We are planning to hold it at wateringbury, 8 minutes from maidstone. This is half way between dover and London so it is a prime location. :thumbl:

Could probably make it, depending on the date.
Humans need fantasy to be human. To be the place where the falling angel meets the rising ape.

Not sure. For me it would be a 120 mile round trip.
Would depend on the weather.

We'd love to come Charlie but having no transport means anything more than about an hour away is out of question :(

we've chosen a good possible location called "the wateringbury". It is a pub opposite the railway station, with a landlady enthusiastic about holding events there. for example warhammer and army days have taken place there.

we know it'll be in the summer hols if we do it. I am getting an extra week off this year because the open (the golf tournament) is being held in the town my school is in. :D

Thanks for reminding me about wadfest. I hadn't thought of it before. I shall definitely consider this when choosing possible dates.

Charlie, you are most welcome to join the virtual fest that is the EEB meeting, via MSN Messenger once a month. It's not just for folks from Forn Parts, though there are a number of us that regularly join in. And even though you won't meet us in the flesh, it's still a great way to get to know people and have a laugh. It's always on a Saturday night, so won't interfere with school, but does go from 9 to 11ish. Click here for signing in help, and here for this month's schedule.
Cheers -
