Erm, yes. Sorry. NADWCON and all, you know. Back now. Responsibility oozes back to the surface. 2 Saturdays left. Select your preferred date.
Cheers -

23 best for me as well as got a lot of working weekends coming. Even had to miss a few of my radio Shostakovich including tonight.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed this month's quiz, of which all the answers were stations on the London Underground network. An extra point was given for correctly naming a line on which the station in question was located.

Squigglyx won the quiz with 30 points and thus is next month's quizmaster!
Anilori came second with 24 points
Laura & Selkie came joint third with 16 points apiece
Phalarope came 5th with 13
Kelshandra came 6th with 11
Mrs. Cake aka Jane came 7th with 9

Mrs. Cake aka Jane won the 'funny' award for making me laugh the most!

Questions and answers:

1. I'm from Darkest Peru and I rather like marmalade!
PADDINGTON Hammersmith & City, Bakerloo, Circle and District

2. I'm often featured on the long-running BBC Radio show which styles itself as 'the antidote to panel games'.
MORNINGTON CRESCENT Northern

3. The Discworld has four of one, and quite a few of the other.
ELEPHANT AND CASTLE Northern and Bakerloo

4. I am currently the only station on the Tube which is closed for major refurbishment. This may really be because Richard Mayhew is having a fit on the platform.
BLACKFRIARS Circle and District

5. If I were guarding sheep and needed to relieve myself, I'd hide behind me.
SHEPHERD'S BUSH Central and Overground

VICTORIA Victoria, Circle and District (85 million users a year)

7. The town of "Doh!"

9. I have quite a few siblings - one for every day of the week, in fact.
SEVEN SISTERS Victoria

10. Myself and my neighbour boast the most popular route for tourists in the city, despite the fact it's quicker to walk between us. Understandable though, since one of us has an internationally renowned opera house and the other rolls out the red carpet for stars of the silver screen.
COVENT GARDEN Piccadilly
LECEISTER SQUARE Piccadilly and Northern

11. I suppose I once had a cathedral on the western river, but now all I have is a tower with a big bell.
WESTMINSTER Jubilee, Circle and District

STRATFORD Overground, Central, DLR and Jubilee

17. Two minor stations, side by side, my royal wife has a 'bury, and so do I.
KINGSBURY Jubilee

18. I suspect that the next ruling monarch will be one angry chap.
