Membership certificate

I've now got full Acrobat (standard), and had a quick play. I can add names and membership numbers in suitable fonts, but can't make a form that anyone could use (it doesn't work via the reader to make something anyone could type into and then print - you need Acrobat Professional to do that).

But if anyone desperately wants their name and number added to a certificate, PM me with the details and an email address and I'll see what I can do. Or failing that if someone has Acrobat Pro they could make a fill-in form.

Unfortunately unless you have the right (and as Dave says expensive) software it is read-only.
However there is a work around. :D
Display the certificate with the Adobe reader and then click on the Snap-shot icon (camera on toolbar).
Now put the cross-hair in the top left hand corner and drag it to the bottom right. The image will be placed in the clipboard.
Open up your favourite paint application and paste in the image. Then add your details.
Hey Presto.
Proceed, varlet, and let the day be rendered perfect for my benefit!

Thanks for the info on where to find our Mem#. It did help.
While looking for my number (1740, WAY down the list, since I am so new) I noticed there is no #1701. is that as a proof against Trekies?

Re: Membership certificate

Eventually been able to beat Acrobat, Photoshop and word into submission and entered my name into the certificate but I cannot find my membership number. I have followed the advice from 2006 but since the forum format has change, I have not been able to locate it. Can anyone help?

That would be me ... 1537 actually - I shall (at some undefined point in the future [or soon]) add said number back to the listing.

Apologies for the delay

WTF? I replied as it came up as a new message but eventually I looked at the dates. As I said WTF?

And I'm obviously not the only one.
