Looking at the sheet the former applies, but stamp design logic tells me the latter is more likely.

The frame isn't inverted but rather rotated 180 degrees around the central vignette

The 1d Tsort stamp has Tsport (3rd down centre stamp)
The ½d Tsort stamp has a figure looking through a window in the side of the horse (r2c3)
