The number of stamps in the total above is 100 but the number of stamps in the list by individuals is 102. :?

I think where it went askew between the total and the individual listings is at the top of this page where Frank posted an increase of one both to the total from 91 to 92 and to his holding from 10 to 11 - no problems there - but Steve's individual listing also increased in the same post cf the previous one from 11 to 13. So, at that point, the number of stamps in the list by individual become two more than the total and that has carried on through the remainder of this page of the thread.

So, should the total be increased by two to 102 or Steve's holding reduced by two to 12?

Were any sold or traded and added again to the list by the new owner without the previous owner decreasing the total?

Not trying to deprive you of any of your total, Steve  although if you want to send me a couple of triangles, I'm sure I can make use of them :thumbr: I could turn them into a square perhaps! 8)

The best person to say what happened to the list is Frank and no doubt he will be able to clarify next time he is on. The question being why he increased your number from 11 to 13 in his post here cf the immediately preceding post in the thread here.

Duh!

All I know is I increased the total when I get a stamp. I must admit I have traded a few and have never decreased the total.
With all previous list the totals were the numbers of triangles pulled from LBEs or in some way obtained from No 41.

From what you say it is up to Steve to make any alterations.

But basically you've no recollection of why you increased the number listed for Steve by two when you added one to yours and one to the total in your post that I've linked to above, right? In which case, I'd say it was probably a typo that you made and just changed Steve's number by mistake. What other explanation could there be? :?

Having finally put my chair back together so that I can think properly (my brain needs the extra padding :D ) I see what you mean.
I have no idea why, or even if, I made that changed. But as Steve has upped the number he has since we really need him to say how many he has got before we decide which to change, the grand total or Steve's total.

I'll do a recount of my collection.
