The whole issue (!) sounds like a laser-printing bodge at the shop that escaped via a favoured fan and never intended to actually be a Discworld stamp.

I think its a single proof sheet with 9 stamps, 6 of which are overprinted. Yes, ungummed and unperforated. Not sure about the favoured fan, but escape is perhaps an appropriate verb

Well the single I have is perforated and gummed.
Actually I have never known how it ended up in my collection, I had not realized it was overprinted. It was only when Ken was looking at my stamps and he noticed the overprint that I even knew I had the stamp.
I did learn to look more carefully at my stamps after that. :)

Even better. I bet you're pleased with that.

And good old Ken. A less scrupulous collector might have offered you a cheeky swapsie...

surely the altered stamps from the GCTS letters have been produced to match the number of envelopes. There are, I believe 1, 200 of each.

That was available to al the attendees at the Convention, so there are at leaat a few hundred out there.
The Red Nose Patrican is less than 100.
The skunk stamp is less than 10.
I have a sheet of Ankh-Morpork 1p Duty Paid stamps. As far as I am aware it is the only sheet of them in captivity.
The Hogswatch 3p sheets are pretty rare and there are two formats. They have changed hands for some serious prices, more than I can afford.

Figures I have seen for Skunk stamps have been less than 10, 23 or 26. Clarification needed

We have one as well, received at the same time as yours and for the same reason iirc. But there are certainly only a few of them.

Actually, wasn't it just over 100? Something like 104 or 105? I remember there were just a few more of us wanting one than Bernard anticipated, so he produced more than 100. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

It's possible! Certainly that number is what was handed out, not necessarily all that were produced. Someone may have gotten an extra from eBay or through a trade, or even as a gift from the shop.

But to get it you will need a shed load of money to buy it.

That is life.
Let it be a spur to you getting a good education so in the future you have a job where you can afford to buy your collectables.
