After waiting two years for one to come up for sale... I had to have it!

I'm trying to remember how much I paid for my copy on ebay about 12 months back.
No where near £155, I think I paid under £50 and thought that was expensive.

I must admit that I didn't think it would go that high. Never mind... I can go without food and beer for a month... it'll do wonders for my figure!

But did you see the Jamboree stamp set -
All of them(except 1 sport) for just over a tenner :!:
And I missed the bidding -

I wanted to try and get the floorboard sport.

Oh well - until next time...

Crazy in reverse - bargain in my eyes (2 sports/tent triangle+6or7 others)

Looked online today and what did I see.... a whole set of the "eaten by snails etc." covers. Also loads of cheap penny patrician sports, lots of good goup lots and a strip of the turtle moves stamps.. I hate this because my mum said my online spending was cancelled. I hope that me being good can resolve this. :o

p.s. This is so annoying. I really like the stamps/covers/strips up on ebay now. I would love private offers for me to consider for the future. Any items I have listed above, I would love to come to a deal in future!

I doubt they'll stay 'cheap' for long. Don't confuse an eBay starting price, with a winning bid. That'll help you more with online buying than just being good.

I will confess to being the 2nd place bidder on the £151 lot.
We could only go up to £150, wanting the Balloon Race and the lilac twinning with the plan of re-selling/trading the others.

On the flipside, I'm shocked at how little some things have gone for!
