The Gold Patrician

Who won the Gold Patrician? Has it been claimed yet? Are we allowed to know or has the winner chosen to remain anonymous to protect themselves from being stalked by jealous Flatalists?

Why do I imagine the proud owner of The Golden One, sat hunched with the stamp in one palm, stroking it with a finger muttering " My precious ! " and has now nailed the front door shut, and hasn't worked, washed or eaten since it arrived. :D

The golden stamp remains at the Emporium currently, as yet unclaimed.

My theories are:

1. The recipient is allergic to gold.
2. The recipient had a heart attack.
3. The recipient doesn't like the look of it.
4. Something to do with Mt. Doom.
5. It may be headed for a home overseas (as it usually takes longer to arrive)
6. The package has been intercepted by bandits.
7. The package has been lost O.O
8. The LBE is sitting in someone's season ticket.
9. The claimant sent it back to us second class

Either way, if it's not claimed in a month, we will appeal for witnesses. The wording on the prize ticket was very specific, no one knows it but us 4 and the recipient... we will know if someone's trying it on!

IF the prize is never claimed - we will speak to all involved (that includes you lot) and find a solution.

IF anyone reading this HAS the prize ticket, do please let us know :)

Prize tickets are beginning to arrive at the Emporium, but I've not yet heard reports of Blue Triangle Sports either, so c'mon you lucky buggers, let us know :)

Ah hah! So there's a secret code eh?

Bernard's trouser fluff catches fire on Tuesdays?
Isobel's emu assaulted the Vicar?
Molly the cat chased Reb up a tree?
Ian savaged by deranged mongoose called Colin?
Bernard arrested for impersonating the Archbishop of Canterbury - again ?

Well it isn't a Gold Patrician, but I was fortunate enough to receive a ticket for 1 of 50 special FDC's. And the beauty arrived yesterday! :D

It truly is a piece of art, and a credit to all involved producing it!
