I like the lost stamp, and I'm glad really we got to see it. But I don't find that they make a very good pair, side by side. It's something about the different horizons and perspective I think. So for what it's worth, I think Ian made the right decision here.
Humans are always slightly lost. It's a basic characteristic. It explains a lot about them

I have to say that I love the new Llamedos Henge stamp and much prefer it to the old Llamedos Ffyrling which I was never that keen on ** runs and hides behind sofa . . .**
There's something about the lonely old Henge sitting forlornly in the rain which suits Llamedos down to the ground . . . or mud
It was lovely to see the other design, but I agree that Ian made the right decision as it's not as strong a design as the Henge -from a design perspective it has a bit too much foreground which makes it look a bit unbalance somehow - but I love the little excerpts used in the selvedge.

Incidentally, who's this Ian Mitchett bloke?

Excellent article Kel. Well researched and nicely written.
Perhaps more sports should have such a background.

(and to everyone else who commented)
Thank you- I didn't realise that it had been published until I saw the most recent one and saw I was a published writer

I absolutely would love more background based sports. It makes it fare more interesting and I really enjoy researching them. Things that are mirrored or upside down etc just don't have the same fun when it comes to research.

Magnify the two pictures on the right showing the outside and inside of the pack.

Bugger - I can't get either of those two images to load :( Bloody typical - the other images have loaded fine.

Do I need to allow 3rd party cookies on my browser or something?

No. They are large images when magnified.
I left them in situ and didn't retype them to avoid copyright issues.

Try right clicking and loading in a new tab. They are readable then or if not ctrl+ to make them larger.

Never a truer word spoken:

"Those for whom reading is a lifelong pleasure don't distinguish between books for children and books for adults, but between good books and bad books. And the best imaginary worlds occupy a reality which is, literally, outside time: they outlive generations."
Sir Terry Pratchett

Have you tried clearing out the cache? I occasionally have problems with part images failing to load.
