The 400th Stamp

Postby Grace Speaker » Tue Apr 19, 2016 08:50 pm

There's a big clue in the Stanley Howler Journal that the 400th stamp may have a Shakespearian link . . . so what do you think the 400th stamp is going to feature?

The Dysk? The DW's greatest playwright? The Witches three?

I posted the announcement page.
I added the Shakespeare comment because I had just been reading a booklet from the British Library about their exhibition.
I have no idea the subject of the stamps is. Ian won't tell me!

Oh the sneaky bugger! Wonder what he's up to?

Given that it's the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death on the 23rd April and the next issue will be the 400th stamp . . . but then it's also The Creator's b'day on the 28th

If he won't tell you what, have you managed to tickle Ian in to telling you when ?

Heh... I'm afraid the bard may be a red herring... but I can tell you that the 400th stamp will be more then one stamp... which is confusing.

Or a series of face flannels?

A series of stamps would be nice . . . she said hopefully :D

If the Bard is a red herring, can we have a blue turbot, or possibly a yellow haddock of a clue instead?

Oook!

I'm going with rainbow sheet*. Spikey's guessing mini-sheet - multible images that form one big picture.
