The Glorious 25th of May!

Postby Murgatroyd » Sat May 14, 2016 02:59 pm

The Glorious 25th of May is almost with us...
It's almost time for us to look out for the 401st stamp, and the 165th LBE... and I'm hoping for something in Lilac!

Ooh we definately need a Lilac coloured stamp! Fingers crossed they have planned for this one!!!!! I have a Lilac tree next door to me and it is in full bloom and reminds me every day! "They rise up!" And then I wonder if we are going to get a stamp?

What about a lilac scented scratch and sniff stamp?

Then a mint stamp would not only have full gum, but also be unscratched and unsniffed

I can neither confirm nor deny the existance of a 25th of May LBE. I mean, I can, but I won't.

Regardless of whether or not we've got something 25thy up our sleeves, We ARE going somewhere new in the next set of issues.

Ooooooh you sneaky bugger!!! That's a direct clue without a direct answer!

Quirm? Sto Lat? Sto Plains? Pseudopolis? It could even be Lancre! Is the much-loved, but much-creased visage of Dame Nanny Ogg and her single remaining tooth about to grace a stamp? :D

Ooo ooo ooo - is the former Dean of Unseen University, now Archchancellor of Brazeneck about to appear on a Pseudopolis stamp, in a game of one-upmanship with the Archchancellor of UU that is guaranteed to but a bat right up Mustrum Ridcully's belfry?

Oook!
*Breaking out the Compleat A-M map, using the Complete A-M to find the Central Post Office's location*

So, it's to do with some place along Upper Broadway? Street of Cunning Artificers? Dolly Sister? There's a Treacle Street - is that is?

C'mon, any of you with the Map's App - what's located between Widdershins Broadway & the Hubwards Gate that might be stamp-worthy?

Is it the Bank? The Temple of Fate?

*Hey, I found my Merchats' Guild bookmark!*
What ape? Oook! :book:

OOoooo very good point! On the way to The Hubwards Gate from the AMPO is The Royal Bank, The Royal Mint, The Temple of Fate, The Royal Art Museum and slightly north-east but still arguably Hubwards there's also the other Temples to the Gods . . .
