 A 'vertical deceleration event', eh? As an official Nosey Person, I feel I have to ask: were you doing a parachute jump or did you fall off something while 'under the influence'?

I strolled in at about 18.06 and snaffled a few extras, they were all gone five minutes later.
Sorry to hear about your foot Muba! Hope it heals up soon!

Nothing so glamourous. Just landed wrong when I slipped on a steep grassy slope. Didn't stop me doing anything planned. Did 3½ miles on crutches after the 24 Hours Race at Le Mans in order to have our traditional steak chips and beers on the Sunday evening

Librarians Apprentice wrote:* Because we got 40 of them at the Con - for a grand total of one Triangle (probably not a sport, since it came all alone) and a Prize ticket, as well as about 20 of the Limited Edition 1p sports  Greedy? Me?
Triangles, common and sport, only come on their own.

managed to set the alarm (and wake up!) in time for the first round. [EST :( ]

on the off chance that I was too slow, I preemptively changed the time of my afternoon meeting to make sure I wouldn't be thwarted. Fortunately, I managed to get my purchase in during the first round.

Oh, the things we do! And would do again :D
