[regarding Alan Rickman] He had Tim Curry's ability to save the day by putting literally all the scenery in his mouth and gnawing on it like a deranged woodchuck.

Personally I think we have the Stamp of the Year here.

The style reminds me of the first stamps proposed for Tristan da Cunha in 1946. They were never properly issued and because they were proposed to be sold at a rate of 4 potatoes to the penny, the prototype stamps were called the Potato Essays. They local rate is mentioned at the side of the stamp. They had to be large potatoes, not those piddling little Charlottes or Jersey Mids. They featured on a recent stamp issue from the island.
