I forgot at 5..... then panicked, but still managed to get my order in at 6pm, just checked now and there are still some available
Was the limited to 200 a misprint, surely 200 would have been snapped up in minutes.

I was late to order a sheet as well. I had looked up the time in local time and after boggling at 3am, I set an alarm and went to bed. Only to get up and blearily order realising that the website I'd used was a filthy liar- it was 2am local time. But there were some in stock so whatever. Bit tired at work yesterday for some reason...

Missed it due to spinal surgery (C5, C6, C7) on Monday. If anyone has an extra that they are willing to sell, please contact me. Of course, I will pay for postage to the USA. Thanks!

Ouch!! You poor thing, that's sounds very painful - wishing you a very speedy recovery and some decent pain relief in the meantime
Wish I could help re the sheet, but I didn't order any spares (must do this next time there's a Ltd Edition) - but hopefully someone else can.

Get well soon xxx

I'm not a stampy person, I don't collect stamps, or buy stamps or stare longingly at picture of flat little sticky bits of paper.....
I must admit IW as temtped byu this but as Monday was colelct cats/return from worldcon/be a zombie after 5 days at convention levels of sleep day I doubt I could have managed the cognitive complexity of ordering.

On the bright sid,e it didn't sell out as quickly as next years con memberships, so there's that....

My sheet arrived today and I was knocked out by it's beautiful design and by the rich colours. I really wish I'd ordered two now, but I'm kind of counting the pennies at the moment. Absolutely wonderful!

What that man said, absolutely gorgeous design. I did order 2, my original plan was to keep one intact and split the second one to display in my album.
Plan B may involve mounting and framing one of the sheets.

I now have a big decision to make.
Do I add the sheet to the catalogue, or do I add the individual one penny stamps?

I am so glad Ian didn't decide to make the central octagon an Unseen University 7a penny stamp.

You may be interested that this is only the third stamp to incorporate a gutter; the other sheets being the Thieves' Guild 5 pence and 7 pence

Although I can't bring myself to break the sheet for singles, I'm sure someone will, and the stamps have separate designs. Each of the stamps is individually valid for postage, so they should be catalogued separately.

There was also the Sto Lat 2p and 5p joined sheet from 2009 which had a gutter.

As far as cataloguing the Octogram sheet, there was a similar discussion with the Unseen University Transformation mini-sheets, see here:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15857&hilit=transformation

However, as further guidance, Stanley Gibbons classify miniature sheets as a single item with just one catalogue number.

Shucks, thanks for the kind words guys. I finished this months ago and I've been so excited (and a bit nervous) to release it. I have to admit that I shirked the perforating duty, so spare a thought for Perforating Pixie Steve!
