Greetings all!

There's a new Green Cabbage Trading Item available (at last!) in the form of an anomalous printing of the Octarine Grass Country 2p Sheet!

Happy Stamping!

Oooh, I say. I wonder if I can ask them to take it out of the GCTS that I've already sent in (I know- the answer is to look at the pile to be processed and wibble at the can of worms that would open). I'll just have to do it the other way!

Just crawling upstairs to the stamp room myself to scrabble up 50 GCTS and stuff them into an envelope to the Emporium....

I did and Reb said yes.

PS there is a whole tread about the GCTS at viewtopic.php?f=8&t=28834#p746316

With the release of the new definitive stamps, there will be a cull of stamps from the scheme on 5th February.
Check out the list in the Stanley Howler Journal GCTS section.

Given that one of these was only put on the endangered list a month ago and another the trading list at the same time people need to get in quick.

PS the 5 feb was 3 weeks ago, you do say 5 march on the web site.

Actually all the definitives from last year were only put on that list with the Feb 2018 downloadable list.
According to you (I assume on advice from Reb) they are going to disappear off the list in less than a month maybe a little as two weeks.
Does not make a lot of sense really.

The definitives have been on the list for a year. I know this because I have used the form to send in last year's definitives a few months ago.
The new definitives were added a few days after I received my order. The list was regenerated on 7th February to add them to the list.
I spoke with Reb a day ago about culling the list as it was getting a little long.

Every year the old AMPO defins expire for GCTS purposes around the end of February. I gathered all mine together and sent them off after the last LBE of 2017.

Actually I thought the others on that Endangered List were already well past their sell by date. not having any of them in my LBEs for absolutely yonks!

The reason I started Green Cabbage Trading Stamps in the trading section viewtopic.php?f=8&t=28834 was so that people would have the warning I did not get.

There is never any announcement about the changes to the submission form and it is easy to miss such short term listings.

I agree, which is why I added the details to the Journal

When are we likely to see anew offering for GCTS?
I think the last new available item was the one in the start of the this thread, January 2018!

Possibly when the Emporium Elf starts drawing...
