LBE/Stamp Release Schedule?

Is there any schedule of how often new stamps/LBEs are released?

About once a month except August.

But subject to changes depending on which way the cats are sleeping. :)

It can be found in L-space. Take a ball of string and some breadcrumbs so you can find your way out again and a banana in case you bump into anyone familiar while you're in there . . .

It's called the Flataly Uncertainty Principle - you can know what stamps are currently in circulation and notice will be given about old stamps that will shortly be retired from circulation, but you can't know in advance the issue schedule of new stamps and LBE's at the same time. It is a mystery closely guarded by the denizens of Ye Olde Emporium, although we strongly suspect issue dates may have something to do with how much alcohol* is being consumed by said denizens at the time

Occasionally Forum members have been able to beg, wrangle and guilt-trip** Ian and/or Reb into issuing stamps and LBEs slightly early and sometimes they get their own back by sneaking them out without warning, the buggers. It's all part of the fun of being a Flatalist :D :D :D

* It's mostly apples, you know
**I recall Kelshandra once using a photo of a begging kitten in her entreaty to elicit an early issue of an LBE once, which seemed to prove effective

It's quantum. It's why you need a Season Ticket. There are about 11 every year; there will always be one for the year's new definitives and one for Hogswatch. In between it's anyone's guess. Sometimes Valentine's Day, sometimes the Glorious 25th of May, sometimes one or more seasonal ones. Some are limited edition, some aren't. Another reason you need a Season Ticket. I have 6 myself. Others have more. The ST guarantees you one of each LBE issued for the duration of the ticket (6 or 11 issues I believe).

If you are still confused, call the Shop and ask for Reb (lovely lady). She's the gown-up (aside from Isobel) and can clarify all.
Cheers -
