Frank The Elder

Postby Frank the Younger » Sat Nov 23, 2019 09:59 am

Dad died last night at the age of 94.
After a long and happy life he died surrounded by his family.
His family was the centre of his life and there was nothing he liked better than a visit from any and every one of them.
He had six children, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren who will all miss him.

We don't have a farewell to old members section and as the oldest collector of Discworld stamps I thought this would be a suitable place to announce his death.

Very sad too.

I lost my 67-years-old father a few years ago ... and, although I still miss him, time passes and relieves the pain.

All my condolences for you, your family and your close friends.

Sorry for your loss. Remember the good times you had with your father. I'm sure there were many.

Funeral is on 13th December but I am not looking forward to the requiem mass.
Dad was a Roman Catholic and it is what he wanted but I'm not.

I'm so sorry to hear this Frank. I'm an infrequent visitor to the board these days and I'd missed your post. My condolences and very best wishes to you and your family at this difficult time.
