Just watched Liam Neeson on the Graham Norton Show and he was looking surprisingly Patrician-like, all dressed in black with a neat little beard

I AM SO HAPPY

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Work approved my time off to go to DW 2018. Yes, it was possible they wouldn't, because I've been pulled onto a project and they have blackout dates that they don't want people taking vacation on. DW dates ran afoul of that, so I was worried. I had a backup plan of visiting a few weeks later and possibly seeing some of you lot then, but it would be a bummer to miss the con. But it really helped that I'm asking so far in advance, and going across the pond is no small thing. Now I'm free and clear!!! I have one week, which is never really enough, but I can do a little visiting and exploring before and after, which is better than no time at all.

HAPPY DANCE :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Excellent!! :thumbl: :thumbl: :thumbl:

I have yet to request time off for my UK sojourn in September (Dimension Jump :bounce: ), I suppose I should bite the bullet sooner rather than later.
Cheers -

I got my dwcon leave approved on january 15th. I did ask my boss if I should apply in september...... of last year
[regarding Alan Rickman] He had Tim Curry's ability to save the day by putting literally all the scenery in his mouth and gnawing on it like a deranged woodchuck.

Well, applying in September this year would be pushing the 'forgiveness, not permission' meme to its utter limits

A bit like BT Broadband...
My next project is a book in which I explore the influence of the music of Beyonce on the writings of J R R Tolkien. It's called "It you write it, you have to put a ring in it"

Schumacher's "Batman & Robin". The movie is simply hilarious!
Maybe next time I will play there together with my wife. But first I would like to learn more about mega moolah slot com. Sounds great, isn't it?

Latest thing Adrian overheard:

"Just hit me in the face with your chains..."

If you think that was a little 50 shades you're not the only one - but I'd better explain where he heard it

The butchers in our town still have metal chain curtains over their doors to stop flies and birds entering, two women exited just before we entered, Adrian overheard one saying the line above and all but fell over laughing (he then had to explain to the butchers (including his wife) what was so funny)
