Seen the film, thought it was bad. Currently reading the book.

(I've got the students version with the notes so I can work out what he is going on about.)
"You little (such a one who, while wearing a copper nose ring, stands in a footbath atop Mount Raruaruaha during a heavy thunderstorm and shouts that Alohura, Goddess of Lightning, has the facial features of a diseased uloruaha root.')"

There's a remix of Eve Of The War doing the rounds. It's dreadful.

A friend of mine got a job doing special effects for movies. This (War of the Worlds) is the first one she's worked on that's been released. She does the clothing, make-up and such.

Even with that being said, I still didn't care for the movie much. Blah.

And I agree with Fendetestas, Tom Cruise is both nuts and in a dangerous cult. I first read about Scientology when I read some of L. Ron Hubbards work. /shudder. How any intelligent person could believe in that ...

Anyway, I've never let an actor's beliefs effect how I enjoy their performance. Except... I didn't enjoy his performance in this film. I too enjoyed Fantastic Four more than War of the Worlds. It wasn't exactly fantastic (pun intended) but it was much more enjoyable.

I heard that, now that is the worst remix I have heard in ages. What a way to kill a great tune.
