Love the comment on the men. Such a short attention span to everything
"You little (such a one who, while wearing a copper nose ring, stands in a footbath atop Mount Raruaruaha during a heavy thunderstorm and shouts that Alohura, Goddess of Lightning, has the facial features of a diseased uloruaha root.')"

Again, not true. Some men, Yes. Most men, perhaps. Men, no.

If I were to met 5 women I considered ugly, I wouldn't say "Women are ugly".

It's sweeping generalisation like that that cause upset (see the "Smoking in public" thread).

Unfortunately you cannot see the sarcasm floating around in the air.

I am aware that not all men have short attention spans.

Sweeping generalistations like
In general, smokers show no consideration for non-smokers.

In general, that is true. Go to any pub, restaurant, cinema, etc, etc. Even Bernard's shop, at events.
Ocassionally smokers are considerate. They are not inconsiderate, they don't think "I don't care", they just don't think.
If you consider it a sweeping generalisation, fine. I don't, just a statement from personal experience.
