I don't belieeeeeeeeve it! He's done it again! Got woken up at 2.30am to the sound of my demented ginger kitten meowing his head off to announce his 'capture' of some new present for me. A bleary eyed inspection under the bed revealed that Oscar had decided that I needed another stolen sock instead of a good night's sleep

This time he'd brought me a dirty grey sock instead of a florescent orange one - honestly if he's going to wake me up in the middle of the night to boast about his latest 'acquisition' he could at least have tried to get a matching pair......I really need to give him a talking to about his work ethic.......

He loves him mummy! So the Eater of Socks is actually a cat.

Think yourself lucky that you don't get woken up like this.

Grace that is priceless. Gotta love your little ginger sock eater, bringing presents for mummy.
My Poppy has a tendency to bring presents whenever she feels there is any stress in the house hold. Kinda lie she is saying, well you might be upset or stressed but I brought you a present to cheer you up, or at least you now don't have to worry about dinner. She then gets very confused when im not overjoyed LOL.
We have a neighbour with two very yippy miniature schnauzers who Poppy takes great pleasure in teasing. One day we found she had stolen their favourite chew toy and was playing with it in our garden, just within their line of sight. little madam!

 I'm glad my little ginger nutter isn't alone in burgling the neighbours! If I could work out how to use one of those photo hosting sites I'd upload a photo of the naughty little Eater of Socks :D

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present for your viewing pleasure
The Phantom of The Sock Drawer.......

His thieving tendencies started at an early age with feather boas......
Image

....now he likes to climb trees in order to search neighbouring gardens for likely washing lines to loot and pillage....
Image

....and like any master criminal, he has his own secret hideout in which to plot his next dastardly sock theft....
Image

Any future crimes committed by the Phantom of the Sock Drawer will be reported swiftly

P.S. Many thanks to Tony for sorting out the photo links

What a lovely boy! And so tidily equipped with his own white socks. Perhaps he's only trying to make sure you are equally well-found in socks...
