Have you noticed the "hole" in Addie's sock? She has four white paws, but one of her toes on her front right paw is brown. So cute! :D

Update on the latest nocturnal activities of the Phantom Sock Stealer of old London Town - last night's swag haul included:
    1 clothes peg, green
    1/2 a clothes peg, white
    1 child's gardening glove, yellow
1 Toffee Crisp chocolate wrapper, used
If you see this master criminal in your garden, do not approach unless armed with cat treats

He's a bleedin' nutter! It's no fun stepping bare-foot on a clothes peg at 6 o'clock in the morning, let me tell you! Or stepping on some dreadful cold and wet thing that you can't identify because you haven't even got your contacts in yet at that time of the morning. I won't tell you what I said as a result.....

I think he's spelling out a message for you. Something like: Go into the GARDEN and PEG up the SOCKS I brought you until they are CRISP and dry. :thumbr:

  Oscar could learn a lot from that cat - at least she helps put the washing INTO the laundry basket rather than stealing stuff out of other peoples! I'll have to train him to bring me something useful........ like cash or jewellery....

I used to have to wait until my cat was asleep before I packed my suitcase to go to Tucson. And then I had to hide the case so she wouldn't see it. :)

I know just what you mean - I used to have a cat who used to get in the suitcase if you so much as turned your back for a single second and then hiss alarmingly if you dared to go near it again  It used to take anything up to an hour to coax him out of the damn thing before I could get on with the packing and then he'd lurk under the bed randomly growling.....

Last night was another busy night for the dreaded Phantom of the Sock Drawer - as a result of last night's nocturnal thievery, I was greeted this morning by:
1 man's sock, knee length, black
    1 pigeon feather, large
1 bit of animal bone, unidentifiable
1 child's gardening glove, yellow (the matching glove to the one 'captured' a few days ago)
    1 plastic carrier bag, Tesco
I have tried my best to convince him of my preference for cash or jewellery, but so far without success....any advice will be very welcome
