Laydeez, I'm sorry, but due to the weather, I can not risk my leather trousers. I will ensure they are worn at Wadfest if possible, and at Hogswatch for definite.

No sniggering now, this is serious.

Of course if Pete has a set of laderhosen (not sure of spelling) he could wear those instead. They are leather just a bit shorter. No problem with mud splahes.
