A very nice evening away with the 'boss' (well she thinks she is) to celebrate our anniversary. Night in a hotel in Rye but back home now.
Yes it will be in this brown envelope, I know it will.... Oh maybe not

Recovering pretty well after I took a knee kick in the quadracep at karate yesterday - my partner's kick came in lower than the target I was holding for her, and neither of us realized it until I was on the floor like a sack of potatoes. At least I was able to tell her, who is always fretting that she feels her kicks are weak and she's a wimp, that she's entirely capable of laying someone out with the most basic of kicks.

The good news is that the bruised muscle enforced more rest upon me than I'd intended this weekend, for which I am actually grateful. Once again I did not do as much cleaning as needed to be done, but I read 1 and 1/2 books and got lots of sleep. I'm still limping but functional, only I'm not going jogging tonight. :lol:

Went to the air force museum at Hendon yesterday,forgotten how big the place is.
Not sure how many aircraft photos I took,over 50 at the least!
Got very hot and couldn't get cool no matter what i did,which made me a little bit concerned,very nice breeze by the Thames which did help a little.
didn't get home until 11pm,finally got cool with the help of a fan before going to bed.

Mini Miss is still a bit snotty but she seems like she's rid of most of her cold now. Still not sleeping great but much better than she was.

All packed and ready to set off for the Tour De France (1st Yorkshire Stage)

Plan is as follows;
1.5 hour drive from home to Hawes (a small village in the North Yorkshire Dales). Park up on the auction mart car park (£10 cost) and meet up with some fellow photography enthusiasts. Have a beer or two and sleep in cars overnight. Early start in the morning and after a breakfast of bacon and eggs, a 2.5 mile hike up hill to the spot we have found which we hope will give a great view of the cyclists coming up the hill. We are planning to be in place before 10:00 am and will then have a 4 hour wait till the action gets to where we are. 10 - 15 mins and all the cyclists will have passed, so hike back down the hill and wait for roads t be reopened before heading back home. Hoping for some nice weather and preferably no rain. I'll post an update with pics, if I get anything decent sometime next week.

That's what the guy said when I went to see it , he had a Silver one before that because he could not get a Blue one, then got this one I'm the very happy with it my favorite colour he never took it out in the rain, I told him in Scotland I would not have any choice or I would not be riding it much If I did that. :lol:

Thanks Nonny. :mrgreen:
