Saw absolutely bugger all, as it clouded over round here! :(

Tried several times, but so few gaps in the cloud that I didn't see a single shooting star - still, Freddy my friendly fox enjoyed the extra sausages he got fed as a result of me being in the garden. After keeping me company for quite a while, he disappeared for a bit and then came back with his Mrs and a cub :D . . . who all got sausages too. I know, I know, I'm a Wet Hen . . .

We had a heckuva storm last night, couldn't see across the road much less the sky.

Ummmm..... it's not until Monday. We had an electrical outage around 9:30 at work, but the sun was at full wattage all day.

If you have got the right kit to protect your eyes you might see a bit of a partial eclipse in the UK on Monday from Manchester southwards in the evening 19:40 20:10 for London

https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/uk/london

And a bit of late reporting I did see a few good Persieds last Saturday & Sunday between the clouds with auditory confirmation on some of them from the neighbours kids star party a couple of houses away on the Saturday, they spotted some i missed and vice versa as well.
