Day 6 of rain. Total since Monday > 7 inches. My driveway is a canal. The back yard (such as it is) is a lake. I may have to put the Prius on kayaks as pontoons.

We could do with some of that rain here. (Not all of it though!). It's been so warm for the season, and sunshine for weeks, and it's all very nice. But the grass shouldn't look this dry in May!!!

Same here, but we've got heavy thunderstorms forecast for the next couple of days, so maybe I should be careful what I wish for,

We're in the triple digits, and will remain so for the next 3-4 months *sigh*

Well, the summer has to start so that it can end! And I have a couple of getaways planned :sunny:

On Saturday I was on a photo session; ended up on the Thames in the rain opposite the O2 watching the thunderstorms.

Yesterday we had at least 2 inches in our garden according to my bucket rainfall measure.
On my ride home went through flooded roads of around 4 inches. My boots, I was on my motorcycle, ended up rather squelchy.
My fish pond has been refilled.

And the car is washed, and the lawn watered... very productive!

it's July and we haven't crossed over 115 yet. That's pretty amazing actually. *knocks on wood*

Driving home last night - just getting into the edge of Newark and there was a funny noise... It was RAIN. Lasted all of a minute, very light but it was still rain.

At this rate Cyprus will not feel that warm

Someone went and got a thermometer for my games convention main room, to prove to the hotel they needed some sort of cooling

It was 37C

That's hotter than inside me!

No wonder I feel like shit and am having to go through bed two hours early :(

Is there such a thing as fall anymore? It's October and it's still 80 degrees outside.
