Yesterday was my sons birthday, so his Wife and I were ready at his place to meet him after he finished work early, we had baloons and banners ready and his favorite cake ( battenburg ) with candles in it.
He opened his presents, and we all nipped into Gunwharf for an early dinner in Chikitas , I paid, and we nipped down to the arcades, and played on the slot machines for a whlie. Finished with a couple of scoops of icecream in sprinkles.
I think I enjoyed Tim's birthday as much as he did! :D

For the older members of the forum,....my geeky kid who was bullied horribly so many years ago,..is married, has is own home, and is very happy, and yesterday was twenty seven!
( yep, I know I have just made some people on the forum feel very, very old! )

congrats!

Welcome to the best and worst thing you will ever do - plan a wedding.

My tip - I avoided a lot of the stress by delegating it to my Mum - she loved it and I only had to make decisions, she made them happen!
