A Tribute to Terry Pratchett

Terry was sat at a café table in the Trondheim spring sunshine, surrounded by firm friends of years gone by.

Wonderful breakfast cereal, he said to the passing waiter, what’s in it?

Well, the waiter replied, it comes from a range of healthy breakfast products all sponsored by a Norwegian rowing club.

There are four oarsmen in that tropical mix, but I’ll be dammed if I can remember their names.

Thanks said Terry with a raised eyebrow, and smiled.

Not from Iceland, are you?
My next project is a book in which I explore the influence of the music of Beyonce on the writings of J R R Tolkien. It's called "It you write it, you have to put a ring in it"

That's why spam's gone to Iceland?
[regarding Alan Rickman] He had Tim Curry's ability to save the day by putting literally all the scenery in his mouth and gnawing on it like a deranged woodchuck.
