I think pretty much everyone here wanted to play with a 3d printer!
My next project is a book in which I explore the influence of the music of Beyonce on the writings of J R R Tolkien. It's called "It you write it, you have to put a ring in it"

Well, at sub-£100 prices nowadays, I reckon most can :)

You have to be very patient. It takes a long time to print even the simplest object.

But you can set it off in the morning, and it's done when you get home from work :)

Over the last few days I've seen several bits on various 3D printing things usually the stuff that's a bit more expensive than £100 or so though.
