I went up to Helsinki on a tinder date. She seems nice. Then I came home and watched tv, met a friend for dinner Friday evening nice spicy Nepalese place. Today I binge watched the from dusk till dawn series, and went to see Dunkirk. He God's it's brutal, Nolan pulls no punches yet manages it without the overblown visual effects of Bay. There's lots of long scenes with zero dialogue, it's a very visual film, I'll be shocked if it doesn't get a nod for cinematography .
Good weekend overall, off to WorldCon in a week or so.
[regarding Alan Rickman] He had Tim Curry's ability to save the day by putting literally all the scenery in his mouth and gnawing on it like a deranged woodchuck.
